1. Cấu trúc song hành (Parallel Structure)

Yêu cầu các thành phần nối bởi and, or, but phải cùng từ loại hoặc cấu trúc ngữ pháp.

  • Khi nào dùng: Liệt kê các ý tưởng, hành động ngang hàng, độc lập.
  • Ví dụ:
    • Chưa chuẩn: “AI agents can build 3D faces from avatars, making phone calls…”
    • Sửa lại: “AI agents can build 3D faces… and make phone calls…”
    • Lý do: Tạo mặt 3D và gọi điện là hai khả năng độc lập, không phải quan hệ nhân quả. Cần dùng động từ nguyên mẫu song hành (build và make).
    • Ví dụ khác: “…experience convenience and comfort…” (danh từ song hành danh từ).

2. Phân từ V-ing (Present Participle Clauses)

Dùng rút gọn mệnh đề quan hệ hoặc diễn tả hệ quả trực tiếp.
